You are but a game to me




"It is right not to deny one's self too soon all familiarity with the big impressive gestures which only jealousy can teach us, the big facile and murderous gestures, meticulously pre-mediated, so masterfully accomplished in imagination that it is foolish and pointless to carry them out...

...I am talking now about those acts of sympathetic magic which do not seriously harm anyone, not even the one who casts the spells, provided the people concerned are strong and hearty.
