Please god, next weekend.

Biting Heads

Because mine should be on a pillow.

... A pillow stuffed with cash. And direction.

Sound Happy

Extra! Extra!

"Like a cue ball scattering the opening shot, the establishment broke the cluster and spread the beat generation across the country. It took the seeds gathered by poets, painters and psychedelic holy men ten years to flower into the gigantic minority of gypsy drop-outs currently imploding from the middle-class vacuum."

Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish

The Whole Earth Catalog

The WHOLE EARTH CATALOG functions as an evaluation and access device. With it, the user should know better what is worth getting and where and how to do the getting. An item is listed in the CATALOG if it is deemed:
Useful as a tool,
Relevant to independent education,
High quality or low cost,
Not already common knowledge,
Easily available by mail.
CATALOG listings are continually revised according to the experience and suggestions of CATALOG users and staff.

We are as gods and might as well get good at it. So far, remotely done power and glory—as via government, big business, formal education, church—has succeeded to the point where gross defects obscure actual gains. In response to this dilemma and to these gains a realm of intimate, personal power is developing—power of the individual to conduct his own education, find his own inspiration, shape his own environment, and share his adventure with whoever is interested. Tools that aid this process are sought and promoted by the WHOLE EARTH CATALOG.

(I have no idea whats with me and American counter-culture today, I found this following a morning of watching a documentary on the LA music scene of the late 60s/70s. Clearly this was a day of doing shit all.)

Till Death Do Us Part

"Ray threw Dave a party for his 50th birthday (since Ray has most of the songwriting credits and therefore most of the money), only to interrupt, give a speech honoring himself, then stamp all over Dave’s cake with his foot."

Take your time kid

This is a public thankyou

To my ex-boyfriend - for instilling Bob Dylan lyrics in my brain.

Seeing as I'm now getting paid to sing them. Thanks, baby.

Hows the busking going?

Charlotte Ballesteros & Hubert Marot

There is a song which I have been listening to all day. I would love to share but it isn't mine to put here. These photographs are the closest thing to the music I could find.
