Possibilities

This is what makes me happy right now. This idea.
For the first time the New Year will actually feel like a NEW year for me.
I have vague outlines. No plans. Plans are all about probabilities.
What use is the probable? The weather report gets it wrong and then you win the lotto.

Be gone institution. Hello little-known.

The extraordinary becomes ordinary, the vivid fades, the brilliant dulls.

“A pervasive drive that is singularly human is the need to temporarily change our state of awareness, to alter private reality, to be beside ourselves for a while. We are the only species that experiences this need; somehow the ordinary range of consciousness is incompletely satisfying to us.”

SAY WWWWHAAAAAAAAT MAJOR WORK?!
No, no, no... there's more sunshine.

“We perceive only what we can conceive; knowing is prerequisite to seeing and strongly determines what is seen... the world is seen, not as it is, but as it ought to be... believing is as much a part of seeing as seeing is believing.”

Animal Kingdom

Posters by Jeremy Saunders.
I think I like the original (top), rush job, poster (according to Saunders' talk at Semi Permanent this year) probably more than the final one. The second one tends to remind me of The Sopranos, not that that's a bad thing, I actually really liked their DVD covers. It probably makes a whole lot of sense too, but since when did that make a difference?
Either way I'm looking forward to seeing the film.
